Sayalonga is a beautiful traditional Andalucian white village, or pueblo blanco. You can spend a happy afternoon winding through the narrow streets taking in the sugar cube homes and cascading flowers. When you get a bit tired there are plenty of bars and restaurants offering a good selection of food at very reasonable prices.
Sayalonga is only 15 minutes from the national park, Sierra Almijara, which provides excellent walking and off road adventures. Also Sayalonga is only 10 minutes from the wide beaches of Torrox Costa and all the amenities provided by this large town.
It is not surprising that Sayalonga is gaining popularity as a great location to buy a holiday home or relocate permanently. Being a few minutes away from the coast means this village is very affordable and has also retained its traditional charm and security.
